Cleveland-based company (NYSE: in MADURA) acquisition is effective as of 1 January. Meridian, established in 2004, has 22 employees. CBIZ expects the deal to add about $ 2.7 million in revenues this year. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Greg Cryan, previously President of Meridian, will serve as the Southeast regional President for Division of property and CBIZ.
"This acquisition will further enhance market established these two CBIZ," CBIZ Chairman and CEO Steven b. Gerard said in a news release. "Greg and the Group has an excellent reputation in the Southeast, and we anticipate to grow our businesses together. We are very excited to give a larger property and casualty products to our clients in this area. "
In addition to insurance, CBIZ provides accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services for merger/acquisition business.
