Charter Fishing Tables

From the end of October through until the end of April the main stay of fishing is done at anchor - that is Uptiding/Downtiding.

When we are fishing Uptiding / Down tiding when we usually catch codling, whitting and flat fish. At this time of year you will need bait such as squid, mackeral, rag worm, lug worm, peeler crab and mussels, and its a good idea to have more than one type.

From April till the end of October we will start to drift fish either on the wrecks or the rough ground In the early part of the season you would still need bait as above and hopefully we wiil start to catch codling 2-3lb.

As the season progresses and the mackeral come in we will start to move further offshore and using the mackeral for bait.

We will start to use pirks and bait lures such as hokkias for cod and ling.

In the summer months we can also offer inshore trips for mackeral and whitting for those who dont want to spend all day at sea

3 Meet at the diesel berth at Hartlepool Marina, TS24 ORU. 15 minutes before the start of your charter.
